清水寺 is an acoustic song by TWO MONSTROUS NUCLEAR STOCKPILES, Kyo's first side-project he formed together with Kaoru in 2000.
They released this song on cassette on March 20, 2000, during the Battle & Love fashion event, held by fashion labels Ba-tsu and Kera at the Laforet Museum Harajuku. The distribution was limited to 150 tapes, which made this release quite rare and for the longest time, it was not available on the internet. However, you can now listen to it here.
The song was later re-released with vocals on the CD 第三帝國楽団 (Daisan Teikoku Gakudan) that accompanies Kyo's first poem book 自虐、斂葬腐乱シネマ (Jigyaku, Rensō Furan Shinema). The re-release is called スカポルトロノ「清水寺ポルノTYPE」 (Sukaporutorono "Kiyomizudera Poruno TYPE") and you can listen to it here.
|This song is an instrumental and does not have lyrics.|
- The Japanese sentence in the booklet is 渡る世間は鬼ばかり (Wataru seken wa oni bakari), which means "There are only demons in this world". This is based on the expression 渡る世間に鬼はない (Wataru seken ni oni wa nai), which translates to "There are no demons in this world" and means that all humans are good at heart.
